Brembo brakes

The Subaru WRX AWD tS Spec B takes braking performance to the next level, delivering confident stopping power and enhanced control when it matters most. Engineered for performance enthusiasts, it's equipped with a high-performance Brembo braking system designed to complement the tS Spec B's dynamic capabilities.

At the front, powerful gold-painted Brembo 6-piston calipers grip ventilated and drilled brake discs, maximising heat dissipation and reducing brake fade under demanding conditions. At the rear, 2-piston Brembo calipers work in tandem to provide balanced, consistent braking performance across all four wheels.

Unrivalled driver control is delivered via Subaru's distinctive 3-mode Subaru Intelligent Drive (SI-Drive)¹, and Drive Mode Select² , available on selected variants. Together, these advanced systems give you integrated control over key vehicle dynamics, tailoring performance to suit your driving style and conditions.

Subaru Intelligent Drive (SI-Drive), available on Sport Lineartronic® transmission variants, allows you to adjust throttle response and acceleration characteristics. Choose between Intelligent (I) mode for smooth power delivery and efficiency, Sport (S) mode for responsive everyday driving, or Sport Sharp (S#) mode for maximum performance and quicker throttle response, perfect for spirited drives.

Drive Mode Select is standard on Subaru WRX AWD tS variants, including the Subaru WRX AWD tS Spec B. With five distinct modes: Comfort, Normal, Sport, Sport+ and Individual, you can customise suspension firmness, steering response, and drivetrain settings. Tuned for both comfort and control, Drive Mode Select reduces body roll and increases stability for a sharper, more connected driving experience.

Subaru Performance Transmission*

Available on Subaru WRX Sportswagon variants and selected Subaru WRX Sedan variants, the Subaru Performance Transmission combines an 8-speed Sport Lineartronic® transmission with Variable Torque Distribution and Sports Shifting Control. This advanced transmission is designed to deliver smooth, responsive gear changes, offering an engaging driving experience across a variety of conditions.

For added driver control and engagement, CVT variants with Subaru Performance Transmission are also equipped with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters—allowing for quick, manual gear changes at your fingertips.

Working in harmony with Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system, the Subaru Performance Transmission helps provide optimal power delivery and traction for confident acceleration and control.
